The research paper titled “A Contract-based Resource Allocation Mechanism in Wireless Virtualized Network” by Di Zhang, Zheng Chang, Timo Hämäläinen and Weinan Gao was accepted and presented in the IEEE INFOCOM 2018 (http://infocom2018.ieee-infocom.org/) conference, Apr 16-19, 2018 in Honolulu, Hawaii, the USA.

The paper presents a contract-based radio resource allocation mechanism in 5G wireless virtualized networking with multiple infrastructure providers (InPs).  It shows that not only the users’ Quality of Service (QoS) based demands can be satisfied, but also higher profit of InPs can be achieved. Significant enhancement of network operator’s utility is also achieved with the proposed contract-based resource pricing mechanism, especially by comparing with traditional linear pricing mechanism.
