UAV-3S: Simulator for UAV satellite terminal performance

In the UAV-3S project, Magister designed and developed an end-to-end system simulator that provides performance indicators for the development of UAV satellite terminals.

The simulator implements realistic UAV flight paths, velocity, altitude, as well as terrain morphology.

Developing simulator for evaluating satellite air interface performance

SAIRCC: Integrating satellite technology into future railway mobile communication systems

The SAIRCC project focused on integrating satellite technology into future railway mobile communication systems. It aimed to develop a new satellite air interface for railway control communications.

We developed a simulator for evaluating the performance of this air interface. The performance was validated through realistic packet-level simulations.

This work will help shape the evolution of railway communication systems, especially as they incorporate satellite technology for more efficient and safe operations in the future.

Enhancing NGSO simulator towards 5G NTN direct-to-handheld access

DASCE: Advancing C-DReAM towards 5G NTN direct-to-handheld access

In ESA’s DASCE project, we advanced our existing NGSO simulator C-DReAM to support 5G NTN direct-to-handheld access.

The enhanced simulator introduced new features, such as Ka-band and VSAT user terminals, and an improved Graphical User Interface.
