We executed a DVB-S2X/RCS2 and 5G NR-NTN comparison project for the company Forsway in a geostationary satellite scenario. Using the C-DReAM simulator, the project included theoretical analysis, link-level evaluations, and capacity-level system simulations.
The project gave Forsway a clearer understanding of how 5G NR performs in an NTN context compared to traditional DVB technologies.
