In the 4SSTB project, Magister and VTT developed a non-real-time (NRT) simulator for LEO satellite constellations to support European satellite research initiatives like IRIS².
The simulator models whole satellite constellations in software, supporting configurations for the number of satellites and terminals, and the type of traffic they handle.
The simulation results help measure the expected performance of constellations and provide crucial insights for 5G standardization.
